Lane Closure begins Monday in Mason City
MASON CITY, IA.-- Upcoming roadwork is scheduled in southwest Mason City. Starting Monday, May 20, the Operation & Maintenance Utility Crew will close the westbound lanes in the 300 block of 19th Street SW (between Jefferson and Madison Avenues). Traffic will be reduced to one lane each way in this area using the eastbound lanes through Friday, May 24 due to a water main repair.
Mason City teen arrested for robbery, burglaries, and a stabbing
MASON CITY, Iowa – A teenager wanted for multiple crimes is finally arrested after allegedly stabbing someone. Travun Draymond York, 19 of Mason City, was booked into the Cerro Gordo County Jail on Monday afternoon and is being held without bond. He is charged with willful injury causing serious injury, second-degree robbery, two counts of third-degree burglary, attempted third-degree burglary, and fourth-degree criminal mischief.
