A quiet Monday before showers and storms return
After a line of showers and thunderstorms brought some heavy rain to the area earlier this morning, we're still dealing with a few lingering showers this midday. Those showers will clear out through the afternoon and temperatures will warm up to around 80 degrees, but it will feel pretty sticky out there with the humidity. The next chance for rain and storms will be Tuesday evening when we can expect a half inch to an inch of rain and an off chance for severe storms. From there, the weather quiets and temps cool into the low to mid 70s for the rest of the next work week as we can expect generally sunny skies. Winds will be light for the most part, except for Thursday when it will be a bit breezy.
