The International Plaza will kick off its fourth season Sunday, May 5 with a Cinco de Mayo celebration.

The marketplace at 828 North Clinton Ave. highlights global cuisine and culture through a series of Sunday Markets , where vendors and performers bring the world to Rochester through a variety of food, gifts and entertainment.

Sunday's market will celebrate the culture of Mexico with live music and dance performances by Los Velaz and Alma de Mexico from 1 to 5 p.m. Food vendors will offer items from Puerto Rico, Mexico, Colombia and Romania.

The Sunday markets will continue through Oct. 13. The International Plaza is managed through a partnership between the Ibero-American Development Corporation and the City of Rochester.
