Two contracts, different outcomes: East Boulder ratifies tentative agreement as strike continues at Nye, Columbus operations
When the ballots were counted Monday night, union employees at the East Boulder Mine had voted to approve the contract Sibanye-Stillwater had presented them. Meanwhile, union employees from the Nye and Columbus Met (Metallurgical) Complex operations remain on strike as the union’s negotiating committee continues to work out a new proposal to present to Sibanye.
