Rocky ski team sweeps men's and women's slalom at Red Lodge
RED LODGE — The Rocky Mountain College alpine ski racing team had a fabulous day on the slopes of Red Lodge Mountain on Saturday. The Battlin' Bears wrapped up three days of competition at the United States Collegiate Skiing and Snowboarding Western Region Championships by sweeping the slalom men's and women's team titles and the individual championships. The Bears had earlier won male and female individual and team titles in the giant slalom on the first two days of the meet.

Missoula and Red Lodge Improve Glass Recycling Programs in Montana
In January of 2024, the Missoula Current published an article about the increase in access and interest of glass recycling in Missoula. The article cites that Missoula-based non-profit, Recycling Works, is the only business in western Montana to recycle glass. In May of 2020, the Red Lodge Recycling Center began to work in conjunction with Recycling Works to provide access to glass recycling for residents and businesses in and around Red Lodge.
