Body of missing hiker recovered in East Rosebud Creek
The body of missing hiker Dylan Honnoll has been recovered from the Beartooth Mountains northwest of Red Lodge, Montana. His body, which was completely submerged under the fast moving water, was located by ground search crews on Tuesday, July 23. Search and Rescue team members met a specially trained crew from Two Bear Air Rescue from Kalispell to coordinate the recovery. The skilled helicopter crew was able to hover over the rapids in the steep canyon and lower a rescuer to recover Dylan.

Don’t miss the annual Art in the Beartooths Quick Finish and Live Auction on Saturday, Aug. 3 at the Red Lodge Ales Event Center. Art in the Beartooths is a major fundraising event for the Carbon County Arts Guild & Depot Gallery. There are two components to the fundraiser. A silent auction exhibition and sale of that takes place until 7 p.m. on Aug. 5. The second component of Art in the Beartooths is the Quick Finish and Live Auction on Saturday, Aug. 5. At this event they showcase the works and talents of 20 local and regional artists.
