FLOOD WATCH FOR RED LODGE
Carbon County is currently under a FLOOD WATCH through Friday evening--meaning flooding in certain low areas is possible. If your home is in the floodplain, or in a low area prone to flooding, one of the best ways to protect your home is to place sandbags in front of your doors, low level windows and other openings where water may enter your home. IT IS IMPORTANT you place sandbags next to your home, rather than along the street, curb or property line to avoid diverting water-which could damage your downstream neighbor's property. Pay attention to weather forecasts, flood watches and warnings -- and watch this video from Santa Clara Valley Water District to learn more about using plastic sheeting and sandbags to help protect your home, garage, and other structures on your property in case of flood. https://www.youtube.com/watch.

They said it was near the WY border on radar, south of Belfry, not appearing real strong. Lots of lightning already here at home now. We are under a flood watch here, I hope we don't lose anything next few days that has been rebuilt, along Rock Creek, or in our trail systems." He said the funnel had a "weak radar signature, thank goodness." Keep alert out there and tune in to local weather reports.
