GRAPE CREEK, TX — According to Tom Green County Sheriff Nick Hanna, last night at 10:09 p.m. his deputies were dispatched to a bar on FM 2288 near the intersection with Concho Road on a report of a stabbing.

ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) - 7:20 PM UPDATE: A CBS7 FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY continues Sunday for strong to damaging winds ongoing across the region. Winds have gusted up to a peak of 52 miles per hour in Odessa and at Midland International Airport. Wink has recorded a peak wind gust of 58 miles per hour. Carlsbad has reported a peak wind gust of 60 miles per hour. Strong winds are ongoing. Winds are still gusting between 35 and 55 miles per hour across the region this evening. We’re also seeing areas of blowing dust and reduced visibilities due to dust outside this afternoon. All of the region is experiencing reduced visibilities as of this evening, with visibility in Midland down to 2 miles. In Wink, visibility is down to 1 1/2 miles. Odessa is currently seeing visibilities at 4 miles. Use extra caution when out on the roads today!

FRISCO, TX — Grape Creek High School welcomed back a recently crowned state champion from the Texas State Powerlifting Championships last week. Lady Eagles Ashly Hernandez won the first official unequipped division in the 242 lb weight class and is a 3A State Champion.

GRAPE CREEK, TX — Over the radio, Tom Green County Sheriff’s Deputies and the Grape Creek Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched to a residence of FM 2288 at Concho. The location is just north of the San Angelo State Park. Sheriff’s investigators confirmed with us that the residence is an active crime scene. Over the radio, dispatch described it as a stabbing.
