The Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky has announced new service improvements that will take effect this Saturday, November 7. The service updates reflect community input gathered in 2025. TANK sought feedback from riders, employees, nonprofit organizations, major employers and local government officials to help shape the improvements. In addition, TANK hosted public meetings in September to share details about the proposed service improvements and answer questions from community members.

Lanes reopen on EB I-264 at Virginia Avenue after 'traffic reconstruction'

This story has been updated to include new information. All lanes have reopened on eastbound Interstate 264 between Virginia Avenue and Bells Lane, according to a LENSAlert traffic advisory. A MetroSafe spokesperson previously said police were conducting a "traffic reconstruction." Louisville Metro Police spokesperson Aaron Ellis said the reconstruction was related to a rollover collision that occurred in the early morning Oct. 24. One of the drivers injured in the crash died five days later. The road was closed around 9:30 a.m. and reopened around 12:20 p.m. Reach breaking news reporter Ruby Grisin at rgrisin@usatodayco.com.
