Joplin summer reading program kicks off for all ages
JOPLIN, Mo. — Outdoor adventure is the focus as the Joplin Public Library begins a summer reading program. It’s called “Adventure Begins at Your Library,” and workers say it adapts for readers of all ages. For example, kids 4 and under only have to reach two hours of reading to complete the program, while more mature readers can set goals of 8 or 10 hours.
