Chilly weekend ahead as rain moves into El Paso, Southern New Mexico
More rain is moving into the El Paso region, bringing cooler temperatures and breezy conditions heading into the weekend. Rain chances are expected to return Friday evening, Nov. 6, and continue into Saturday morning, with some areas potentially receiving around half an inch of rainfall, according to the National Weather Service. The weather system will also bring a drop in temperatures, with Saturday's highs expected to reach the upper 50s, which is 10 to 15 degrees below average for this time of year. Rain chances will begin to diminish Sunday, Nov. 8 as the system moves east, although lingering showers remain possible in Hudspeth County. Drier conditions will also bring a gradual warming trend beginning Sunday, with temperatures expected to return to seasonal averages by next week, the National Weather Service said.
