Coastal Carolina Hospital unveils new operating room
A new operating room recently opened it doors, expanding services for one local hospital serving Jasper County and the surrounding areas. Coastal Carolina Hospital officially opened the new room during a May 14 ceremony at 1000 Medical Center Drive in Hardeeville. In February, the hospital joined Novant Health, a not-for-profit healthcare system which has been expanding into South Carolina.

Savannah Hilton Head airport braces for Memorial Day rush, urges early arrivals
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTGS) — Savannah Hilton Head Airport is expecting its busiest crowd of the season this Memorial Day weekend. The airport expects between 80,000 to 90,000 travelers to come into Savannah. During the busy season, passengers are reminded to get to the airport 2 to 3 hours early.
