POUGHKEEPSIE – A shooting incident in Poughkeepsie Tuesday afternoon critically injured one male teenager while his opponent also sustained a wound that required a trip to the hospital. The incident began minutes before 3 p.m. in the vicinity of the corner store at Fox Terrace and South White Street where Poughkeepsie High School students gather after the 2:40 p.m. dismissal.

Judges fail to grant protection order after violent domestic attack
ROSENDALE – A 26-year-old Kerhonkson man was arrested on Saturday, April 27, by Rosendale Police after the officers responded to a report of domestic violence, but no judge was available hear the case.
