RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Sunday was Cinco de Mayo and 8News combined a list of events celebrating Mexican-American heritage and pride.

Cinco De Mayo Block Party

• 1 to 6 p.m.
• Dive Music Hall — 13 West Broad St.
• The event will include a live DJ and performances, authentic Mexican food. Tickets are still available online.

Dance Candy debuts LIVE at Cinco De Mayo Celebration

• 3 to 6 p.m.
• 1106 Winterfield Crossing in Midlothian
• The band, Dance Candy will debut new music at a Cinco de Mayo event.

Cinco De Mayo Artisan Market

• noon to 5 p.m.
• Triple Crossing Fulton — 5203 Hatcher Rd.
• Celebrate the holiday by shopping local vendors selling handmade art, jewelry, apparel and more.

Turner’s Body Shop Trio plays at Pepe’s for Cinco De Mayo

• 6 to 8 p.m.
• Pepe’s Mexican Restaurant — 9538 Midlothian Tpke
• Catch the family band, Turner’s Body Shop, at Pepe’s Mexican Restaurant.
