Some Kentucky school districts implementing new cell phone policy this year
(WKYT) – Ahead of the upcoming school year, Jessamine County Schools is implementing a new policy “to keep distractions out of the classroom.”. “Cell phones are becoming a distraction for teenagers. They’re becoming a distraction for teachers. And we can’t continue to challenge our kids in the classroom while fighting what those cell phones are bringing,” said Principal Brady Thorton, West Jessamine High School.
