Deer hunting legend shares public-land secrets

Trophy whitetail hunting legend Greg Miller of Wisconsin was a master at killing big bucks on private and public land, but he estimates that 75% of his deer were harvested on public land. Miller shot his best-ever archery buck, a 17-point non-typical that gross-scored 202 5/8 points in December 1990 on snowy private land in Eau Claire County.
