Donations sought for Hollister fireworks display
The City of Hollister is planning for an explosive good time at its 71st Annual Fireworks Show and is asking the community for help. Each year the city hosts its fireworks display, which is funded by donations. No taxpayer dollars are spent on the fireworks. With help from the community last year, the city was able to purchase the fireworks for this year’s show with donations only, according to a social media post. It was the second year in a row the feat was accomplished.

The mothers of two Famous Dave’s employees who were murdered on May 29, 2021 in Branson are suing the restaurant and the suspected killer for wrongful death.
