I was reading through a Branson centric group on Facebook when I saw a posting from a woman complaining about the rising costs at a food establishment she would visit with her kids. She noted the prices were a lot higher than even a year ago, and that it made it more difficult for her and her family to be able to go out together and patronize this business.
El Mago No Go: Spanish magician quietly cancels 2024 Branson events
After coming into Branson with great fanfare in 2023, a Spanish magician has quietly canceled any appearances in the city in 2024, with a vague promise of shows in 2025. Antonio Diaz, a.k.a. El Mago Pop, along with his production team purchased the former Mel Tillis Theater and announced plans to turn it into the Branson Magic Theater. Diaz told Branson Tri-Lakes News in May 2023 he wanted the city to be his American base of operations.
Wolves show up big for Pack Night Fundraiser
A pride of wolves circled Dolly’s Stampede in Branson on April 12 to attend Pack Night, marking a fundraising record for the Reeds Spring School Foundation. Branson opens fourth Fire Station

The end of August in Branson is going to give visitors and guests a chance to party hearty with a totally tubular music festival that will be anything but grody to the max. Retromania Live will be a five-day music festival from August 21 through August 25 at various locations, but focused mainly at the Mansion Theatre in Branson. The festival will feature multiple 80s rock stars along with multiple special events including 80s movies at 80s prices, artist meet and greets, after party concerts and events, and a special Silver Dollar City wrapup day.
