Repairs underway again at Jackrabbit Lane railroad crossing in Belgrade

Lane closures ahead for Tuesday, Wednesday on Jackrabbit Lane
For much of next Tuesday and Wednesday, southbound traffic on Jackrabbit Lane will be closed, and there will only be one open northbound lane near the railroad crossing. "The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is partnering with BNSF Railway to complete asphalt patching near the railroad crossing at Jackrabbit Lane and Main Street in Belgrade," reads a news release from the City of Belgrade.

Kagy Blvd Sewer Construction Projected to Finish Late October
BOZEMAN, Montana (Oct. 14, 2026) – Construction on Schedule 1 of the West Kagy to Babcock Sewer Improvements project is planned to be completed by the end of October, weather and other factors permitting. Crews are currently working on underground improvements on West Kagy Boulevard. When this work is complete, crews will finish repaving and restriping the roadway and installing temporary lane delineators. These delineators will remain until the Montana Department of Transportation’s projected work on Kagy Boulevard next year, which will include rebuilding the medians.

Full Closure of S. Tracy Ave Starting August 31
– Starting the week of Aug. 31, construction crews will close a section of South Tracy Avenue to install sewer pipes as part of the City of Bozeman’s West Kagy to Babcock Sewer Improvements project. The closure will extend from the north leg of the Kagy/Tracy intersection to Mason Street and the south leg of the Kagy/Tracy intersection to Spring Creek Drive. Two-way traffic on West Kagy Boulevard will be maintained throughout the closure, although drivers will not be able to turn onto South Tracy Avenue from West Kagy Boulevard. The closure is expected to last approximately two weeks, weather and other factors permitting.
