2 airlifted after pickup vs SUV vs semi crash near Twin Bridges
MISSOULA, Mont. — Montana Highway Patrol reports two individuals were airlifted from the scene of a crash on Montana 41 near Twin Bridges on Wednesday. A trooper reports a semi tractor trailer was traveling north, and an SUV was traveling south, and had a left turn blinker on to go into a residential drive way. A pickup hit the back of the SUV and pushed it into the path of the semi. Witnesses saw two helicopters and the trooper confirmed two patients were airlifted to the hospital. The three adults involved were last in serious condition, but the trooper says their conditions could change.
Montana Tech associate athletic director arrested on felony drug charges
BUTTE, Mont. — The Mining City was in for a surprise last week as a public figure from its flagship university was arrested on felony drug charges. Nicholas Kelly Bowsher of Butte is in custody after police arrested him on accusations of illicit drug possession and distribution at a residence on West Gold Street near the Montana Tech campus.

Man arrested after chase in southwestern Montana
MISSOULA, Mont. — One man is in custody after a foot chase and search in southwestern Montana. The ordeal started Saturday, when troopers helped a car out of gas near Anaconda. Later, outside Butte, officers pulled the same vehicle over. Then three passengers got out and the driver ran and wasn't found. Later, somebody reported the car was stolen.
