Deaths Discovered In Cedar Bluff
The Cedar Bluff Police and Fire Departments along with Atrium Floyd EMS responded to a residence on Railroad Avenue around 10 AM Sunday. According to Police Chief Jeremy Stepps, two were found non responsive and not breathing. The subjects found were deceased and the Coroner was called in to assist with the investigation. Coroner Paul McDonald confirmed the deaths and tells WEIS Radio News, the Alabama Department of Forensic Science will be assisting with the investigation.
Fort Payne Police Identify Recent Accident Fatality
Police Chief David Davis said that incident happened at about 9:14am on Glenn Boulevard S.W. in front of the Landers McLarty Ford location. Marcus Marcell Legnon, age 32 of Rainville, was traveling south on Glenn Boulevard – when he struck the rear-end of a DeKalb Ambulance Service ambulance being driven by William Ray Smith of a Geraldine address.

Two incidents occurred in DeKalb County, Alabama this week. The first incident involved the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office providing a demonstration of their Aviation Unit's Helicopter to students at Geraldine Elementary School and the Geraldine High School Varsity Football Team. One Injured in DeKalb County Wreck Thursday Morning
One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident on Thursday morning – in neighboring DeKalb County. According to Alabama State Troopers that collision involved a 2000 Ford and a 2010 Chevrolet.
