NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — Investigators have arrested a man two years after a fatal hit-and-run crash left a victim dead in Queens, authorities said on Tuesday.

Investigators found a 55-year-old man with minor injuries and a 26-year-old man with severe head trauma near Beach 47th Street and Rockaway Beach Boardwalk at 3:04 p.m. on Aug. 29, 2022, according to the NYPD. Authorities reveal that Wright, while driving a dirt bike westbound on the boardwalk lost control and ran into a bench and a pedestrian.

One of the passengers, later identified as David Molina, 26, flew off the bike after the crash, authorities said. Wright allegedly fled the scene leaving Molina on the ground, and first responders declared him dead at the scene.

First responders rushed the 55-year-old victim to a hospital where he received treatment.
