Auburn RB Brian Battie injured in Florida shooting
Auburn running back Brian Battie is reportedly one of the victims in a shooting that occurred early Saturday morning in Sarasota, Florida, an Auburn spokesperson told AL.com. According to multiple reports, one person is dead and other victims were treated at local hospitals. The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office says the incident happened at approximately 3:30 a.m. local time. Battie is a native of Sarasota.
