BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Warren County Sheriff’s Office has announced the capture of Jessie Ray Curtis, 36, in Tennessee on Thursday. Renovations completed at Warren County Senior Center
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – There’s a new look to the Warren County Senior Center in Bowling Green’s Community Action of Southern Kentucky. The center re-opened on Thursday after completing renovations, undergoing a much needed repair job to the tile floor that had what the center patrons referred to as the “fault line”. Due to rehabing the whole floor, the walls sustained some damage which the city had repainted.

Bissell Pet Foundation’s Empty the Shelters starts early at the Bowling Green Warren County Humane Society
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Warren County Humane Society is under a Code Red, so they’ve decided to start their Empty the Shelters event a bit early. Normally, Bissell’s Empty the Shelters event starts on May 1st, but since the Humane Society has seen a huge intake of animals recently, the event is starting a few days early.
Annual fire training scheduled at Bowling Green airport this week
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) – This week, several first responders are gathering at the Bowling Green-Warren County Regional Airport for vital training sessions. “The purpose of this drill is to get crews back out on the taxiways and the runways to be able to refresh their skills and information on the airport,” said BGFD Public Information Officer Katie McKee. “Station 2 is considered our airport station, we have Station 7 which is on the other side of the airport, we also bring in Station 6 units.”
