Plan to restore Roanoke’s iconic H&C Coffee sign underway

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) - For about four years, Roanoke’s skyline has been missing one of its brightest icons, but a plan is now in place to light up the night again. The Historical Society of Western Virginia took over the H&C Coffee sign over the summer and launched a campaign called “Light the Skyline.” Former Roanoke Mayor Nelson Harris is helping lead the charge to restore the landmark.
