Greg Swepston Memorial Baseball/Softball Camps returning in June for youth players
MARION — They had so much fun the Friends of Greg Swepston decided to do it again. On June 11, the group will host a girls softball camp for those ages 8 to 12 from noon to 3 p.m. at the River Valley complex on Ohio 309 east of Marion. On June 12, at the same time and venue, the baseball clinic will be held for boys between the same ages.

Softball teams are entering the sectional tournament this week, while baseball teams wrap up the regular season this week before embarking on their tourney runs next week. The conference track meets will be held throughout this week before their postseason starts with districts the following week, and boys tennis held its league championships last week.
