District 10 - Mille Lacs area

- CO Victoria Griffith (Isle) patrolled area angling, trapping, and ATV riding activity. Many people were out enjoying the warm weekend weather. Enforcement action was taken for angling and ATV violations. Griffith also responded to litter complaints. A reminder that all ATV riders and passengers under 18 are required to wear a DOT-approved helmet.

- CO Dan Starr (Onamia) worked on trapping season items and prepared for upcoming safety classes. Annual in-service training was also attended. A complaint of walleye carcasses that were dumped in the Rum River, near a busy road, was also investigated. Starr found approximately 50 walleye carcasses and skins that had been freshly deposited in the river.

District 12 - Princeton area

- CO Ryan Hanna (Milaca) patrolled area lakes for shore angling and trapping. Hanna checked multiple people with very nice crappies from shore and from boats. Hanna ensured that they were aware of the limits and ethical fishing practices.
