    As we welcome in May, and all its flowers, we also say hello to new entertainment being offered on the Seacoast this weekend. Check out the Northeast Sea Glass Expo in Hampton, attend the Halfway to Halloween Party: May the 4th Edition at Corner Pub in Kittery, Maine, or let the kids take charge at Children’s Day 2024 in Portsmouth.

    Artist reception: "Animalia" exhibit

    What: Artist reception celebrating "Animalia,"exploring the gifts that animals provide through companionship and interactions.

    Northeast Sea Glass Expo

    What: Experience a weekend filled with artistry, as talented creators showcase their unique sea glass creations and coastal-inspired masterpieces.

    When: Saturday, May 4, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and Sunday, May 5, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

    Halfway to Halloween Party: May the 4th Edition

    What: Halloween Parade celebration starts early, this time with a "Star Wars" theme! Family friendly events will include scavenger hunt, costume contest, corn hole, and more. Adult events (starting at 8 p.m.) will include raffle, storm trooper target practice, corn hole, costume contest, and drink specials. Halloween Parade minions will be on site slinging merch, raffles, and causing mayhem.

    Do You Believe In Ghosts? with Dustin Pari at The Music Hall

    What: The University of New Hampshire’s Department of Theatre and Dance presents "Molly McFolly and the Littlest Leprechaun." An original story written by David Kaye and directed by senior acting and directing student Lauren Rose, the play is a fun-filled one-act comedy for people of all ages

    Children’s Day 2024

    What: The Children's Day festival combines family-friendly activities, entertainment and usually, an ice cream sundae. How does it work? Pro Portsmouth creates a map and kids of all ages follow the alphabet ’round town. From A to Z, they can visit shops and restaurants, head to the Block Party on Pleasant Street and enjoy all sorts of fun activities and entertainment.
