Two Hospitalized After Disturbance
On November 27, 2023, around 8:51 pm., Bridge City Officers responded to the 1300 block of Dogwood in BC in reference to a white female outside screaming. When the Officers arrived, they located 48-year-old Charity Carson and learned she had been assaulted at 191 Fernwood. Officers went to 191 Fernwood to speak with a male subject about the assault. When Officers arrived and entered the residence, they located 60-year-old Ned Gaspard lying on the kitchen floor with a single gunshot wound to his chest. Gaspard told Officers he intentionally shot himself.
