Port Clinton Hampton Inn & Suites set to open in spring 2025
What is it: Visitors to the Port Clinton/Catawba Island Township area will have a new lodging option come spring 2025. A new Hampton Inn & Suites is under construction at the corner of State Route 163 and State Route 53. The building, with a new design by Hilton, will have five stories with 93 guest rooms, along with a large indoor pool, waterfront patio, fire pit, large meeting room for events, fitness room, and waterfront lobby.

CLYDE - Justin Shellhammer, a Clyde resident and retired Army veteran, had his life transformed by the Driven to Move program. Freedom Alliance and US Bank nominated and selected him for the program. FREMONT - Lindsay, Gibsonburg and Fremont will be hosting community festivals this weekend. The Lindsey Sunflower and Homecoming Festival will be from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, July 27, at Wendelle Miller Park, 240 S. Main St. in Lindsey.
