Alternating lane closures this week on U.S. 69 northbound and beyond detailed

Port Arthur and Mid County motorists can expect alternating lane closures on U.S. 69 northbound at the Jimmy Johnson Exit to 39th Street beginning today through Friday.

Daily and nightly closures begin at 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. and resume at 9 p.m. until 4 a.m.

Drive cautiously in the area. Expect delays.

Also, contractors are working at various locations beginning today through Friday.

Expect alternating lane closures to begin at 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the following locations:

• Tuesday/April 23 – U.S. 90 at Lindbergh Drive
• Tuesday/April 23 – Thursday/April 25 – U.S. 69 at FM 365
• Wednesday/April 24 – Friday/April 26 – FM 365 at FM 366, Merriman Street at FM 366 and Martin Luther King Junior Parkway at Washington Boulevard
