Trio of New Police Academy Grads Join Mt. Laurel Police Department
MOUNT LAUREL, NJ — The Mount Laurel Police Department (MLPD) welcomed three new officers to their ranks this month following their recent graduation from the Atlantic County Police Academy. Officer Abruzzese, Officer Jeronimo and Officer Farley were part of the Atlantic County Police Academy Class #28 which graduated during a ceremony held at the Atlantic City Convention Center on May 10.CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR THE FREE TAPINTO.NET NEWSLETTER The graduation marked the Officers’ completion of required training to begin their law enforcement careers. The three officers are now assigned to the MLPD’s patrol division and will begin the Department’s field training program. During their 28-week training at the Police Academy, Officers Abruzzese, Jeronimo and Farley studied disciplines including firearms, vehicle pursuit, hostage negotiation, use of force, advanced crime scene processing and domestic violence prevention. The MLPD said on social media that the Department is “happy to have them as part of the Mount Laurel Police Department family and wish them safety and continued success in their careers."
