Dillon Council approves plat for Love's Travel Stop
DILLON, Mont. — A large gas station and convenience store has received the go-ahead to move forward with building just off the interstate in Dillon. In a city council meeting on Wednesday, they approved preliminary plans from Love’s Travel Stop by voting in favor of the preliminary plat for the Clover View Subdivision.

Sewer project construction starts soon
JACKSON — The first phase of Jackson’s sewer replacement project is underway, with staging of materials and equipment to begin this week. Scott Dunkelberger of WWC Engineering updated the Jackson water and sewer board on the progress of the project at the board’s May 9 meeting. Dunkelberger said equipment will start being moved in and parts are on order. The hope is to have the area staked out by the end of May and work will begin in June.
Dillon enters Western A as a #2 seed
The Dillon Lady Beavers whipped Butte Central last week, 17-1, in their last conference game to secure second place in the Southwestern A behind Frenchtown and earn a first round bye in this week’s Western A Divisional tournament. Dillon will open tourney play at 5 p.m. Thursday against the winner of Butte Central versus Ronan. If Dillon wins that game, they earn a berth to the state tournament. If they fall in that opener they would need two wins to make the state tourney field.
