Police said Abraham Zlap, of Utica, choked his mother — 71-year-old Fakhrieh Abdelghani — to death during a dispute at the home they shared at 7 Devereux St. at about 3 p.m. Thursday. Tillson, 43, of Holland Patent, NY was arrested Thursday evening by the New York State Police (Marcy).
