South Walton and Arnold Prepare for Fourth Meeting This Baseball Season
PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) -It’s a big game ahead Tuesday night, or perhaps Wednesday, if the weather stays bad, at Arnold High School. That being the 4A region final game between South Walton and Arnold. That game will mark the fourth meeting between the two teams this season. The Marlins winning the first match up at South Walton 3-2 on March 26th. Mid-April, the Seahawks won the game at Arnold 4-2. Then May 2nd in the district championship game, the Seahawks won 7-1. Arnold still able to win the top overall seed in the region, based on a 21-5 overall mark going into the playoffs. So they get to host this region final.
Softball Recap: Moore Haven wins going away against Seacrest Country Day
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Moore Haven had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Seacrest Country Day Stingrays as they made off with a 16-9 victory. The result was nothing new for Moore Haven, who have now won 13 games by six runs or more so far this season.
