I bought an engagement ring, and I tried to find the perfect moment throughout the weekend to pop the question, but no moment ever felt quite right. Finally, with time running out, I just decided to propose in our hotel room on Memorial Day right before we left to go to the airport. I nervously gave a short speech, got down on one knee, and asked him to marry me. And he said yes!”
