Ocean County Man Convicted Of Strangling Wife
LACEY – A Forked River man faces life imprisonment for strangling his wife and leaving her body on the side of the road. Jeremy B. Cruz, 53, killed his wife, Dawn C. Cruz, 51, on October 30, 2022. A driver spotted her body near the intersection of Colonial and Asbury avenues in Ocean Township in Monmouth County.
Brick Township High School grad, 18, dies from injuries suffered in Manchester crash
Family members and friends are mourning the loss of an 18-year-old Brick woman who died last weekend of injuries she suffered in a crash in Manchester on April 14. Catalina Reinoso, 18, who graduated from Brick Township High School last year, was injured in the single-vehicle collision that occurred at 2 a.m. that Sunday on Lacey Road, a family member said.

FREEHOLD – A crash that left one person dead in Manalapan on Thursday is under active investigation, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago announced Friday.
