    Wednesday, May 15Load ‘em in the Dark Cattle Company’s regular Wednesday night team roping from 6 to 10 p.m. in the Indoor Arena at the Bannock County Event Center in Pocatello. Admission is free.

    Perfect Chaos will perform live starting at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, at the First National Bar, 232 W. Center St. in Pocatello.

    Thursday, May 16The Kids Entrepreneur Market will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 16, at the Mountain View Event Center, 1567 Way to Grace in Pocatello. This event will feature young creators and entrepreneurs aged 4 to 17 years old. Admission is free.

    MandM Paint Parties will host a paint night starting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, at Sandbaggers Bar and Grill, 296 Yellowstone Ave. in Pocatello. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased at m-and-m-paint-parties.square.site. Ages 12 and older are welcome. All supplies and instructions are provided.

    The Yellowstone Restaurant, 230 W. Bonneville St. in Pocatello, hosts live jazz featuring Freddy Gildersleeve and rotating guests every Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Y Lounge.

    Thursday-Saturday, May 16-18The Palace Theatre will host performances of “Descendants: The Musical” at 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, May 16-18, with an additional show at noon Saturday, May 18. Based on the popular Disney Channel Original Movies, this is a brand-new musical jam-packed with comedy, adventure, Disney characters, and hit songs from the films.     Friday, May 17“Dune: Part Two” will be shown at 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 17, in the Bengal Theater at the ISU Pond Student Union. Admission is $3 for the public, $2 for ISU employees and free for ISU students.

    Super Cassette will perform 7 p.m. Friday, May 17, at AJ’s Place,1560 Lindsay Blvd. in Idaho Falls. Somewhere between a solo bedroom-pop act and an indie rock quartet, Super Cassette has specialized in producing driving, insidiously catchy garage pop since 2016.     The American Falls Birding Festival will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 18. This festival is ideal for those interested in bird watching, but who are not sure where to begin, or for more experienced birders looking for a few tips.     Bring the family to the race track for Pocatello Downs on Saturday, May 18 There will be stick horse races for the kids, and Idaho State Police will be visiting. Gates open at noon, and the first post time is 1 p.m. Admission is $5, and children 12 and younger get in free.

    Dogs Dig Downtown will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 18, at the Broadway Plaza in Idaho Falls. With dog vendors, photo ops, dog walk, dog costume contest and a yappy hour discount card, this will be a can’t miss event for pups and their humans. Sign up for the $5 dog walk throughout downtown, and when you complete the 1-mile loop, you will receive a swag bag full of goodies.

    Tuesday, May 21Gate City Young Professionals will host the Historic Downtown History Hunt from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 21. The hunt will start at Pocatello High School. You will download the “Our Treasure Hunt” app and search for clues as you travel through time. Admission is free.
