Northampton teachers union is latest to vote no confidence in superintendent
The Northampton Association of School Employees, or NASE, voted no confidence in the district’s superintendent, Portia Bonner, amid an ongoing budget dispute. The union delivered a statement at a meeting of the city’s school committee on Thursday night, saying that 96%, or 348, members who voted in the poll had voted that they no longer had confidence in Bonner’s ability to lead the district.
