CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – National Barbecue Day is celebrated every year on May 16th, when Americans enjoy different barbeque (BBQ) flavors and sauces.
Massachusetts ranked as one of the best states in America Americans traditionally have four types of BBQ regions, such as Kansas City, Carolina, Memphis, and Texas, and each one has its own homemade BBQ recipe, but many of the recipes include the same ingredients.
When it comes to BBQ, the sides are just as important as the meat. Potatoes and baked beans with bacon are considered staples of barbecue flavors, as well as a good coleslaw pairs well with shredded BBQ pork and sandwiches.
