“His Mustache And Livvy Dunne” – Little Kid Nails Mid-Game Interview Asking His Favorite Thing About Pirates Pitcher Paul Skenes

This kid gets it. There's nothing like pulling up to the ball park dressed up as your favorite baseball player. Typically doing so is reserved for kids... not sure it goes over as well for adults that try to pull it off. But this young Pittsburgh Pirates fan was able to show his support for Paul Skenes by nailing the pitcher's look, mustache and all. He did such a good job replicating the 2023 number one overall pick's signature style that SportsNet Pittsburgh (the broadcast provider of the game) took notice of the kid in the stands. During the top of the fifth inning, a reporter tracked the young man down and decided to ask him some hard hitting questions. One of those inquiries was attempting to figure out the kid's favorite thing about Paul Skenes. That's somewhat of a loaded question, because what's not to like about the pitching phenom out of LSU? He just got called up to the big leagues this month, he's got an ERA of 2.70, and he can throw some nasty heat. Skenes only chucks bat-puzzlers up towards the strike zone. But he does have some other interesting things going on in his life, and that's what the young Pirates fan was more focused on. Paul Skenes does, in fact, have an impressive and respectable mustache. And he is dating LSU gymnast and social media star Olivia "Livvy" Dunne. Any boring adult would have answered that question with, "Paul Skenes is just a great ball player," or some sort of other throwaway remark along those lines. This kid got down to the basics and instead focused on more significant things: Facial hair and women. The way he said "LIVVY DUNNE" too makes me think that he favors that specific aspect of Paul Skenes more than the pitcher's upper lip hair. Even though the kid got a fake mustache stuck on his face, something tells me he's a really big fan of Livvy Dunne, and just so happens to like Paul Skenes as well.
