Isolated showers expected overnight, warmth and humidity for Monday

Scattered thunderstorms will move across the area this evening, bringing the potential for lightning, heavy rain, and strong gusty winds. Most of the storms should wrap up by sunset, with just an isolated shower overnight.

The early part of the work week will feature plenty of dry hours along with continuous warmth and humidity. Thunderstorms over southern Ohio may bring us some late-day showers Monday along with a few more showers Tuesday afternoon, but the highest chance for rain or storms will come during mid-week as a cold front gets closer to us.

Behind the front, temperatures will turn much more seasonable with highs by Friday in the 60s and overnight lows next weekend in the 40s.
