There is a shakeup at Duquesne University when it comes to their coaching staff as Dru Joyce III is reportedly replacing the retired Keith Dambrot.

The former head coach was the coach for Joyce and LeBron James in high school at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School, before leaving for the Akron opening. He later reunited with Joyce again there, as his former point guard played his college ball at Akron. After some stops along the way, Joyce joined Dambrot's staff in 2022 and was selected to be the next head coach of the Dukes as revealed on Thursday.

Dambrot went out on top however, as he led the Dukes to the second round of the NCAA Tournament, after winning their first Atlantic 10 title since 1977.

The announcement pleased the Lakers star, who made sure to shout Joyce out on social media.
