Jimmy Buffett tribute concert announced at Pipestem

PIPESTEM, WV (LOOTPRESS) Pipestem Resort State Park has announced a Jimmy Buffet tribute concert set to take place this weekend.

Presented by the Pipestem Foundation, the Fins Up Jimmy Buffett tribute concert will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024. The show will feature a host of talent from the region as part of a Mountain State Tribute to the world-changing music of singer/songwriter J immy Buffett .

The show will take place at 7:00pm at the Pipestem Resort State Park Scenic Amphitheater following the Fins Up Classic Car Show, which will take place from 10:00am to 5:00pm.

Performers slated for the Fins Up Jimmy Buffett tribute concert include Ammed Solmon, Mark Bates, Randy Gilkey , Ron Sowell, Jim Snyder, Jupie Little, Michael Lipton, and Ted Harrison.

Featured foods at the event will include desserts by BM Wacky Waffle Delights of Fanrock, West Virginia and cheeseburgers by The Rolling Stove of Dawson, West Virginia.

Tickets for the Fins Up Jimmy Buffett tribute concert are $15 and can be reserved by calling (304) 466-1800. The event will be held in conjunction with the Summers County Humane Society.

Singer/songwriter Jimmy Buffett passed away in late-summer last year following a four-year battle with cancer, according to the musician’s website .
