Loudoun Plans Park, Recreation Center and Library on Property Near Purcellville
During its March 21, 2023, meeting, the Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to approve the relocation of the park facilities that were previously proposed at the Fields Farm Park within the Town of Purcellville to a new, county-owned, 143-acre site located just west of the town. In addition, the Board designated the property as the future site of the Western Loudoun Recreation Center and a new Purcellville Library. The county also will initiate a water and wastewater feasibility study for the property, which Loudoun County is in the process of purchasing.
