April Students of the Month

Phillips Middle School has announced the Students of the Month for April.

GRADE 6: Claryse Johnson, daughter of Amy and Lance Johnson, participated in cross country, swim team and track this year. Her favorite things about middle school are recess, band, gym and lunch. When asked why she thought she was honored, Claryse said, “Hmmm…probably because I’m helpful. Otherwise, I don’t know!”

GRADE 6: Luke Gryznowicz, son of Ann and Matt Gryznowicz, loves playing baseball and basketball with his friends and also enjoys going fishing with his dad. His favorite things about middle school are hanging out with friends at recess, lunch, and Logger Time. Luke thinks he was honored because he tries his best and is willing to help anyone if they don’t understand something.

GRADE 7: Matthew Novak, son of Annamarie and Tim Novak, enjoys basketball, recess, talking, eating, and playing with friends. His favorite things about middle school are friends and sports. When asked why he thought he was honored, Matthew responded with, “I’m funny.”

GRADE 8: Brianna Quinnell, daughter of Jen and Nick Quinnell, enjoys hanging out with her cows, playing dodgeball in gym class, writing and drawing. Her favorite things about middle school are “hanging out with friends and being able to put a smile on someone’s face.” Brianna thinks she was honored because she is nice to everybody and is just a fun person to be around.
