A man has been shot to death outside a restaurant in Philadelphia . The man was killed just outside Panda Chinese restaurant in West Philadelphia on Saturday night.

The alarm was raised shortly before 11pm when cops received reports of gunfire on the 5400 block of Baltimore Avenue. Emergency services rushed to the scene where they found a man who had been shot multiple times.

The man was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead around 11.20pm. The man's identity has not yet been released.

There may have been four armed gunmen involved in the incident, investigators believe. The four men, all described as wearing black hooded sweatshirts at the time, fled the scene of the shooting in a dark-colored sedan.

The vehicle had heavily tinted windows. The probe is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Philadelphia Police Department's Homicide Unit at 215-686-3334 or call/text the PPD's tip line at 215-686-TIPS (8477).

As in all homicides that occur in Philadelphia , there is a standing $20,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
