PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — SEPTA Transit Police are looking to the public for help identifying a man involved in an assault on a northbound Broad Street Line train on March 14.

Police say the suspect entered the subway train at City Hall Station around 8:30 p.m. As the train approached Cecil B. Moore Station, police say, the unidentified suspect assaulted a 25-year-old man, causing injuries to the victim’s face.

The victim, later identified as Isaiah Miller, has autism. He told NBC10 that he was on his way home from bowling with friends when he was jumped.

Miller said he was just trying to be nice to some women on the train. "The attacker told me I was creeping out the girls, but I wasn't," he told NBC10.

Miller’s mother said she believes he was targeted because he has autism.

Anyone with information is being asked to call SEPTA Transit Police at 215-580-8111.
