After 44 years, Supercross is finally making its return to Philadelphia!

500 trucks carrying 26 million pounds of dirt headed to South Philadelphia to fill up the Lincoln Financial Field as the Monster Energy Supercross Championship will be held there on April 27.

Doors for the event will open at 8 a.m., with opening ceremonies at 2:30 and the official gate drop at 3 p.m. The event will conclude after the final victory circle at 5:49 p.m.

Fans will have a chance to get in on all the Supercross action at the Fanfest from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.

PHL17’s Tyrone Sharper joined riders on the track to talk about the race and to get a few lessons from the professionals on how to ride a dirt bike.
