Eight individuals charged with attempted child enticement after Operation Red Rover investigation

MACON, Ga. (WRBL) – The U.S. Attorney’s Office said that a federal indictment charged eight Georgians with allegedly attempting to coerce and entice a minor for sex.

The indictment resulted from Operation Red Rover, an investigation focusing on online child predators.

The following individuals have been charged in the case:

• 33-year-old Jon Wiltberger of Manchester, Georgia, and Phenix City, Alabama, is charged with attempted coercion and enticement of a minor.
• 29-year-old Darryl Lockett from Macon is charged with attempted coercion and enticement of a minor.
• 45-year-old Jose Santiago Longoria Alvarez, from Fort Valley, Georgia, is charged with attempted coercion and enticement of a minor.
• Naimilkumar Dadawala, 35, from McDonough, Georgia, is charged with attempted coercion and enticement of a minor.
• Rashon Griggs, 28, from Hawkinsville, Georgia, is charged with attempted coercion and enticement of a minor.
• Marquaze Williams, 31, of Eatonton, Georgia, is charged with attempted coercion and enticement of a minor and committing a sexual offense as a registered sex offender.
• 44-year-old Steven Williams, from Bonaire, Georgia, is charged with attempted coercion and enticement of a minor.

The final defendant, Dadawala was arraigned in federal court on Tuesday. Based on the indictment, the state alleges that the individuals tried to convince children they met online to partake in sexual activities in February 2024. The indictments were returned by a federal grand jury in March and April of this year.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office says the case is still under investigation by the Homeland Security Investigations Child Exploitation and Cyber Investigations Group and the Air Force Office of Special Investigations. Assistant U.S. Attorney Daniel Peach is prosecuting the case.
