WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - A few showers may linger into the evening and overnight, but any heavier or steadier rain has shifted well south of us. Temperatures will be a little cool tonight with lows near 60. We may see some lingering clouds into early Friday, but the sunshine will return by the afternoon. It should be a nice day with most highs in the 70s and up close to 80. The dryer weather lasts into the week with temperatures on the increase, along with gusty south winds. Highs on Saturday and Sunday will be up close to 90. There is the slightest of chances of a late day storm on Sunday, but don’t count on it! Breezy and hot weather is still expected for Monday with highs pushing the middle 90s. Starting Tuesday and into the middle to latter parts of next week is an unsettled weather pattern with several fronts moving into and stalling across the area. This leads to chances for rain and storms from time to time. Temperatures will range from the 80s to the lower 90s.
